Hibbert's Hotel - Murder Mystery Pack
This Focus on Learning resource is a fun role-play activity which encourages students to gather as many details as they can from every other student in the room, while engaging in logical deduction. They will learn and use vocabulary relating to criminal investigations and hotels.
This activity is designed for classes of 12 to 16 students, however it can be easily adapted for slightly larger or smaller groups.
Each student is assigned a character, one of which is secretly the murderer. By interviewing each other, they will find the clues they need to piece together the events of the evening and hopefully solve the case.
The pack contains:
Instructions on how to run the activity
Character Cards (to print)
Worksheet (to print)
2 Slide Presentations: An introduction, and a solution
The activity can be run without the slide presentations, but they do add extra flair.
